The College of Engineering and Science at Louisiana Tech University invites applications for a lecturer to support the Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Technology programs.
Candidates must hold a doctorate or equivalent degree in construction engineering technology, construction engineering, civil engineering, or a related field. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest and passion for teaching that fosters ingenuity, innovation, communication and leadership skills against the backdrop of rigorous engineering fundamentals. The successful candidate will teach courses across the curriculum including upper level Civil Engineering and Construction Engineering Technology courses. These can include Water Resources, Fluid Dynamics, Civil Engineering Materials, Structures, Construction and Surveying, Environmental Engineering, and related labs.
Lecturers are expected to serve on committees, advise students and student groups, and participate in curriculum development efforts as part of a diverse, interdisciplinary and supportive community of learners.
