The Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment (https://acee.princeton.edu/) at Princeton University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position, at the assistant professor rank, in all disciplines in engineering and the natural and physical sciences to apply. Applicants will be considered in the center's core research areas, though we are particularly interested in candidates that bring complementarity to current priority areas including: industrial decarbonization, advanced manufacturing and carbon utilization; subsurface energy technologies, including geothermal energy, natural hydrogen, hydrogen storage and CO2 storage; and sustainable and resilient infrastructure systems, with a focus on transportation and energy.
We seek creative and enthusiastic candidates with the background and skills to build upon and complement our existing departmental strengths, and those who can bridge disciplines and span research initiatives. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field and have a demonstrated record of excellence. The successful candidate will be jointly appointed between the Andlinger Center and an academic department aligned with the candidate's expertise.
Of particular interest are qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of our academic community. We strongly encourage applications from individuals who identify as members of groups that are underrepresented in science and engineering.
Complete applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a statement each of research interest and teaching, as well as contact information for three references. The application packet should be submitted to https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/36462. For full consideration of the application, candidates should apply by November 15, 2024.
