Requirements
A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Quantity Surveying / Construction Project Management or a related qualification with at least four (4) years of lecturing and/or industry experience and/or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence to teach at least three of the following courses/subject areas: measurement, construction technology, computer applications for quantity surveying, construction costing and feasibility study, and research methodology. Competence to establish professional networks and maintain links with the industry, as well as experience in developing undergraduate programmes. A credible record of lecturing, peer-reviewed publications, community engagement, and supervision of students (research) undergraduate level as well as a Doctorate will be an advantage. Candidates should be registered or registerable with the Namibia Council for Architects and Quantity Surveyors or another similarly recognised relevant statutory professional body.
