Decarbonization in Energy Systems: These positions focus on heating and cooling within industrial manufacturing and building energy. Key areas of research include advanced heat exchangers, heat pumps, surface coatings, and machine learning-guided design. Outstanding facilities and collaborations with national labs are available to ensure the success of this project.
Decarbonization in Electronics Cooling: These positions focus on power and thermal management of 3D electronics. Specific research areas include MEMS, packaging and integration, acoustic technology, microfluidic cooling, and spray cooling. The project leverages outstanding clean room facilities to support its objectives.
