Research Opportunity
Application of signal/image processing and computer vision methods in monitoring human movement
Work description
Motion analysis has been one of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center's main scientific focuses, and the aim is to study computer vision and image and signal processing techniques for analyzing human body motion in different clinical and non-clinical scenarios.
It will also be necessary to apply deep learning and machine learning techniques and prepare scientific documents with the results obtained, as well as discussing them with the research team.
Academic Qualifications
Biomedical Engineering, Engineering and Data Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, similar areas
Minimum profile required
Knowledge of image and biomedical signal analysis and the application of computer vision techniques in the field of human movement.
Preference factors
Knowledge of RGB image analysis and computer vision architecture for action recognition and quantification.
