School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. We are hiring a Research Fellow in Signal Processing and Machine Learning to develop signal processing and machine learning algorithms and methods for drone swarms. The role will focus on multi-agent visual perception techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop signal processing and machine learning algorithms and methods for drone swarms.

  • Develop multi-agent visual perception techniques.

  • Perform software/hardware implementation and empirical studies.

  • Prepare report and conduct presentation at seminars.

  • Assist PI in proposal writing and help supervise graduate students.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or other related fields.

  • Familiarity with machine learning and computer vision frameworks.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

  • Interpersonal skill (e.g. Ability to work independently / develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details / excellent organizational / time management skills)
