Expertise: Dr. Pol’s research and educational interests are in electrochemical engineering, nanoparticle technology, materials science, energy storage devices and environmental technology. At Purdue, he will lead an experimental research group specializing in the synthesis of tailored energy storage materials with pioneered synthesis methodologies, electrode architectures, advanced characterization of electrode interfaces and its fundamental understanding, and improved electrochemical properties.
