My research interests are focused on biomaterials including synthetic polymers and natural polymer especially from silk fiber, which can be used as a scaffold in various tissue engineering applications. Currently, we have been explored the methods to fabricate scaffolds to meet the specific purpose such as skin graft, bone plug,, etc. Moreover, silk particle for drug carrier has also been studied. Besides the implantable biomaterial we also investigate interaction force of synthetic materials on various kinds of cells, which will allow us to control the attraction or repulsion of cell on surfaces
