Expertise: Biomimetic robotic locomotion--How do animals move the way they do? An underwater, eel-like robot used in my graduate work. Someday, I`m going to build the REEL III, which will be amphibious and will navigate in 3-D. Other possibilities include walking, crawling and flying.
