My research integrates traditional areas that address physical and digital systems with non-traditional areas that address human systems. My basis in modeling and decision theory, bolstered by a concentration in technical communication, enable mixed-methods, evidence-based research that address today’s large-scale, complex engineered systems. My work addresses the traditional approaches systems engineering is built on while paving the way to modernize how tomorrow’s systems are imagined and created.
