Focuses on all aspects of assistive technology; he specifically focuses on upper extremity pain in individuals who rely on manual wheelchairs for mobility. In this work imaging studies such as MRI and X-rays are compared to kinetic and kinematic studies of wheelchair propulsion. The work is completed to gain insight into the specific biomechanics that cause repetitive strain injuries. Additional areas of interest included secondary disabilities in wheelchair users, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome, telerehabilitation, and assistive technology service delivery
