Expertise: Professor Laker`s research interests are in the area of mixed signal integrated circuits (ICs), requiring the integration of analog and digital functions. Applications are in the general areas of signal conditioning and signal conversion. The work includes architecture design, transistor-level design, IC implementation, an d testing. Architectures and circuit techniques that lead to low voltage operation and low power dissipation are being considered.
