Aakif Mairaj is currently working as a researcher in the Cybersecurity and Teaming Research (CSTAR) lab at the University of Toledo. His research revolves around the Security of Unmanned Aerial Systems, Game theory, and Bio-inspired algorithms. He is an alumnus of IUST, where he earned his BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. Later, he pursued his masters from VIT University and worked on projects such as the application of the Bio-Inspired algorithms for energy saving in WSN, and Artificial Neural Network Modeling of Flashlamp characteristics.
