My research interests including low power embedded systems, wireless communications, image and signal processing, and biomedical instrumentation.
Low Power Embedded Wireless Systems: Designing low power wireless sensing network devices for both industrial and biomedical applications.
Biomedical Instrumentation: Developing an ultrasound, camera, spatial sensors and pressure control platform to assist orthotists and orthopedic surgeons to deliver better treatment for children who have spinal deformities.
Wireless Implanted Sensor Platform: Developing implantable wireless sensors for detecting loads applied by orthopedic surgeons and bone healing process after surgery. MEMS based motion energy harvesters with high efficiency interface circuits are under development to supply energy to the platform.
