Expertise: His research emphasis is on power electronics and its applications to alternative energy and space power systems. It is highly important to optimize power and energy in emerging energy systems such as photovoltaics, ocean and energy storage technologies. Dr. Aintablian is also interested in investigating the challenges facing the health of the power grid due to the proliferation of distributed systems.
