Expertise: His personal research concentrates on unsteady thermo-fluid dynamics and unsteady transport phenomena within the above themes. His latest research is on the performance of turbomachinery and airfoils, on the development of novel engines (with substantial current government and industry research funding from the US and the UK), and on engine performance and emissions. For the last decade he has also worked on modeling the human cardiovascular system
