Expertise: My current research goal is to improve a practitioner's capability to understand, evaluate, and increase the reliability and safety of complex cyber-physical systems (CCPSs) during the earliest stages of engineering design. My research spans the general topic areas of systems informatics, data analytics, engineering design, functional design, concept generation, modeling and simulation, reliability engineering, and safety engineering.
