About This Department

Our academic programs emphasize hands-on laboratory experience at all levels and encourage student involvement in research, discovery, and dissemination of new knowledge. Even in the very first course, EELE 101, students get hands-on experience constructing and testing a custom robot project, and many students work in campus labs, such as MSU’s Microfabrication Facility and the Space Science and Engineering Laboratory.
