Postdoctoral Research Position in Computational Science and Engineering at ECOLAB.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our interdisciplinary team at ECOLAB. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background, with demonstrated experience and expertise in numerical optimization, surrogate modeling, and deep learning. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects that integrate advanced computational techniques to solve complex problems across various domains.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Profound knowledge of numerical optimization methods.
  • Extensive experience in surrogate modeling and its applications.
  • Proficiency in deep learning, including familiarity with current frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong programming skills in Python or similar high-level languages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, as well as independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for disseminating research findings.
