NANOSYSTEMS ENGINEERING LECTURER POSITION
Louisiana Tech University invites applications for a Lecturer position in its ABET-accredited Nanosystems Engineering Program. Academic requirements include Ph.D. and undergraduate degrees in Nanosystems Engineering or closely aligned area. Qualifications include excellent written and oral communication skills, strong teaching skills, a commitment to high-quality professional service, and active participation in college responsibilities. Due to the multidisciplinary nature of the College of Engineering and Science, a strong commitment to collaborative, cross-disciplinary efforts is especially desirable. The successful candidate will teach courses across the curriculum, including our freshman engineering Living with the Lab courses, foundational sophomore courses, and upper-level engineering courses closest to their discipline.
Louisiana Tech University is a US News Tier 1 National University with an enrollment of about 13,000 students. The College has a total of over 140 Ph.D. students in four programs (Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Analysis and Modeling, and Molecular Science and Nanotechnology) and over 190 M.S. students. The University campus is located in Ruston, Louisiana (population ~25,000) with centralized access to the larger metropolitan areas in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
