The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is inviting applications for the position of Research Associate. The Research Associate will work on a project to conduct the research involving teleoperation systems and autonomous driving systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement real time virtual rendering system for digital twin.

• Develop and design 3D digital twin based driving simulator.

• Integrate 3D digital twin into teleoperation systems and autonomous systems.

• Connect and rendering onboard sensor data into digital twin.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering.

• Experience in 3D reconstruction.

• Programming skill: C++, Python, ROS2.

• Project experience of 3D view synthesis, e.g. 3D Gaussian Splatting.

• Experience with using Pandas / SciPy / TensorFlow / PyTorch.

• Good verbal and written communication skill in English as required to publish research.
