Requirements
A Master’s degree (NQF Level 9) in Architecture with at least four (4) years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and/or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written). Competence to establish professional networks and to maintain links with the industry. Competence to teach the following courses: Architectural Design, History and Theory of Architecture, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Construction Materials and Technology, Building Structures, Building Services, Environmental Technology, Computer Generated Imagery. Registered or registerable with the Namibian Council for Architects and Quantity Surveyors or another similarly recognised relevant statutory professional body. A credible record of lecturing, peer-reviewed publications, community engagement and supervision of students (research) at Honours level, as well as a relevant Doctorate will be an advantage.
