The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking a highly self-motivated individual to work as a research associate. The position is in civil engineering and will focus on AI and digital twin for workplace safety and health. The earliest starting date for the position will be Sep 2024.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect workers’ behaviour and health data.

Assist both lab and field tests of workplace safety and health.

Publish several papers in top journals.

Write proposals for further development.

Mentor students
Job Requirements:

A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Extensive experience in machine learning.

Excellent skills for data analytics.

Good oral and written communication skills in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders

A good record of referred journal publications or conference presentations is a plus
