Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology Assistant Professor
The School of Engineering at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College invites applications from qualified individuals for a tenure-track faculty position at an Assistant Professor rank in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology Department. Areas of particular interest include automation, robotics, and control of electro-mechanical systems. The successful candidate will have a commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate engineering courses and the ability to develop a sustainable research program. The position will support the design and development of new programs and courses aligned closely with Behrend's industry partnerships and new research directions in Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT).
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related field by appointment date. Candidates with industrial experience are welcome.
