We are looking for a Research Fellow to lead a project titled Closed-Loop Advanced Manufacturing Process (c-LAMP) under NTU. The role will focus on developing a modularized and energy-efficient treatment process, ie. electrochemical-biological hybrid process to treat secondary waste, ie. wastewater from swarf cleaning, with the purpose of effective water reuse, forming a circular pre-treatment loop for the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:

Profiling and understanding the type of incoming wastewater

Tailoring the treatment system to water reuse requirements

Modularizing treatment units for applications of different wastewater from different industries
Job Requirements:

PhD degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field

At least 1 year of relevant experiences in similar role / technical hands-on experience in Bioprocess and/or Electrochemical process

Familiarity with reactor operation and process design

Good written and oral communication skills

Competent in building rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels, ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Possesses international experience, with a strong network of contacts in the region
