We are looking for two postdoctoral researchers to work on the modeling, scheduling and optimization of intelligent transportation systems with a focus on connected rideshare traffic which involves both human-driven and automated vehicles. The positions will be at least two years with competitive salaries and benefits. The positions are immediate. Candidates with a PhD and experience in relevant fields are all welcomed to apply.

We are also looking for two fully funded PhD students to study on automated vehicles including (1) real-time scheduling and routing of automated vehicles and (2) real-time interactions between automated vehicles and pedestrians. The positions are expected to start in Spring 2022 or later. Candidates with relevant backgrounds are all welcomed to apply.

You will be working with a unique multi-disciplinary team involving the university, national lab and industrial companies with impacts to the real world. The work will be on not only simulations but also experimental implementations on real vehicles including the deployment of one of the largest automated electric vehicle fleets on Clemson campus.

Candidates should send your CV to Prof. Yunyi Jia at yunyij@clemson.edu.

Clemson University is an R1 national research university ranking around 60-70 nationally by the US News. Clemson has a prestigious automotive engineering research program named Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) which is also where the positions are from.
