Abstract:
We announce a postdoctoral fellowship opportunity at the forefront of energy interconversion. The selected candidate will join a dynamic research group at the University of São Paulo (USP) and Imperial College London to contribute to the advancement of electrochemical reactor development for energy interconversion. This position is part of the RCGI project, "Research Centre for Greenhouse Gas Innovation," hosted at the University of Sao Paulo. The project aims to revolutionize technologies related to greenhouse gas storage, abatement and conversion, where a detailed programs and projects information can be found on the RCGI website. Description:
The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to lead research efforts in the development of electrochemical reactors tailored for energy interconversion applications. Leveraging expertise in electrochemistry, reactor design, and environmental engineering, the postdoctoral fellow will conduct transdisciplinary research at the interface of chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. The research will involve the design, fabrication, and characterization of novel electrochemical reactor systems, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.

Requirements to fill the position:
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a Ph.D. in Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in electrochemistry and reactor design. The ideal candidate should demonstrate proficiency in experimental techniques, data analysis, and electrochemical systems. Strong publication record and experience in collaborative research environments are highly desirable.
