A Research Fellow position is available in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The Research Fellow is to help assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in a project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct filed/laboratory tests and modelling of water infiltration and seepage in soils for a polder land in Singapore.

• Assist PI in writing project reports.  

• Assist PI in writing scientific papers.

• Assist PI in supervising research students.

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in Civil Engineering from reputable universities/institutions.

• Research experience in filed/laboratory testing and modelling of water infiltration and seepage in soils.

• Strong publication record in reputable journals.

• Good English writing and communication skills.

• Experience in supervising research students and writing research proposals.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives.
