The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) departments within the School of Engineering and Computer Science (SECS) at Oakland University (OU) seek to hire a faculty member at the associate or full professor level with research and teaching interests in an interdisciplinary research area that falls within one or more of the SECS' five research thrusts: Advanced Manufacturing; Autonomous & Connected Systems; AI, Cybersecurity & Data Analytics; Bioengineering; and Power & Energy. The position will begin August 15, 2024. The faculty member recruited for this position could have joint appointments in both departments but will have a tenure home in either the CSE department or the ECE department. Outstanding candidates will have established scholarly activity and exemplary teaching records. Candidates that are collaborative and transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries are especially encouraged to apply.
