I am inviting applications for a creative, enthusiastic, and independent postdoctoral researcher to lead our experimental efforts in synthesizing, characterizing, and testing quantum dot nanocomposites. The position is available for one year, with the potential for renewal, and can extend up to 2.5 years, funded through my NSF CAREER award. The ideal candidate should hold a Ph.D. in materials science, chemistry, or a closely related field. Preferred experience includes the synthesis, characterization, and testing of quantum dots / nanocomposites, demonstrated through publications related to QDs, in situ X-ray characterization, mechanical testing, and analyses. Additional desirable skills encompass SAXS/WAXS, TEM, fracture mechanics, and AI/ML concepts.

Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a cover letter, CV, and the names of three references to Dr. Ozgur Keles at ozgur.keles@sjsu.edu.
