The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department at the University of Utah Asia Campus (UAC: https://asiacampus.utah.edu/) invites applications for career-line (non-tenure-line, renewable one-year contract) positions of Instructor (Lecturer) or Assistant Professor (Lecturer) or higher rank at UAC. The responsibilities include teaching courses in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Engineering (CE), including introductory classes on circuits, signals and systems, etc. (EE position(s)) and algorithms, programming, digital design, etc. (CE position(s)). The positions starting date is for the Fall Semester 2022, with appointment beginning on Aug. 1st, 2022 in New Songdo City, South Korea. Start in Spring Semester 2022 is also possible based on applicants’ availability. Applicants should hold an EE/CE/CS PhD or an equivalent degree by the time of the appointment and exhibit a strong commitment to teaching. Experience with and interest in teaching in a multilingual context are preferred, and international teaching experience is also preferred.
