Robotics Engineering Tenure Track Faculty Positions
The A. Leon Linton Department of Mechanical, Robotics, and Industrial Engineering at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the field of Robotics Engineering.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD degree or equivalent in Robotics Engineering or a closely related field. This candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels and the ability to establish and conduct independent research. It is anticipated that the appointment will begin fall 2022.
LTU is a selective, focused university with Colleges of Architecture & Design, Arts & Sciences, Business & Information Technology, and Engineering. Of these, the College of Engineering is the oldest and largest, enrolling approximately 1,100 undergraduate and 750 graduate students. The College includes five departments: biomedical, civil and architectural, electrical and computer, mechanical, industrial, & robotics, and technology. Over a third of LTU’s students enroll in evening programs, and the College serves both full-time and part-time students. The University enjoys strong ties with many industries headquartered in the region and is expanding graduate, service, and applied research programs.
Lawrence Technological University’s A. Leon Linton Department of Mechanical, Robotics, and Industrial Engineering has 14 full-time faculty and enrolls approximately 450 graduate and close to 475 undergraduate students. The department offers the following degrees: B.S. Mechanical Engineering, B.S. Robotics Engineering, B.S. Industrial Engineering, M.S. Mechanical Engineering, M. S. Automotive Engineering, M.S. Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, M.S. Industrial Engineering, Master of Engineering Management, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.
