Application of biomedical signal processing methods in human movement analysis.

Work description

Analysis of the work already carried out by the laboratory and the state of the art in this area. Afterwards, an analysis of existing data and technology use cases will be carried out with the objective of designing and implementing an algorithm for analysing human movement. This algorithm should be tested on existing data and data collected during the scholarship period. The work will always be monitored by the laboratory team.

Academic Qualifications

Student on a course in Biomedical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics or similar.

Minimum profile required

Familiarity with signal processing techniques in different areas and programming in Python to develop algorithms

Preference factors

Previous contact with the biomedical field in the implementation of signal processing techniques.
