Work description

  • State about service design approaches, such as the focus on the design of transformative services in the context of living labs.
  • Development of a participatory service design approach to support citizens on their energy transition journey.
  • Monitoring the application of the approach developed in the four living labs of the DECODIT project.
  • Development of data collection and analysis, as well as writing scientific articles with the results of the project.

Academic Qualifications

MSc in Design / Industrial Engineering and Management or Services/ Management / Engineering and Public Policy.

Minimum profile required

  • MSc in Design / Industrial Engineering and Management or Services/ Management / Engineering and Public Policy.
  • English language proficiency.

Preference factors

Experience or training in service design, design for sustainability, co-creation and citizen engagement. Interest in undertaking a PhD related to the project.

Maintenance stipend: € 1259,64, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.

INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".

The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
