Prof. He’s group at Zhejiang University, China (ZJU) is seeking outstanding candidates for FIVE postdoctoral positions starting immediately. Candidates with a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, chemistry, material science and engineering, environmental engineering, or related fields will be considered. A research background in process simulation, multiphysics simulation, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and computational chemistry methods ( including density functional theory (DFT), molecular dynamics (MD) ) is preferred. Experience with any of the following software is a plus: Aspen Plus, COMSOL, ACE+ Suite, ANSYS Fluent, LAMMPS, GROMACS, AMBER, VASP, Gaussian, ORCA, etc. Machine learning techniques are preferred but not required.
The successful candidates will be expected to take personal initiative to structure tasks to meet project functions and author novel publications. The candidate will also be expected to mentor students, fulfill project administration functions, and assist in proposal development. The candidate is expected to meet programmed project goals and can respond to deliverable timelines as are typical in "academia-industry" collaborative research. All positions are programmed for a one-year duration but can be extended based on the research performance. Annual salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, with a minimum starting salary of RMB 400,000 (equivalent to $55,671) (before tax).
