The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for the Postdoctoral Fellowship on Industry 4.0, an initiative designed to foster research excellence in key technological domains that drive the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). This program aligns with UAEU’s strategic vision and District 4.0 initiative, positioning the university as a leader in cutting-edge research and innovation.

Eligibility Criteria
=============
✅ Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science or related fields).
✅ Strong research record in Industry 4.0 technologies with a record of publications in high-impact journals.
✅ Experience with experimental and computational tools related to 4IR technologies.
✅ A demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary and collaborative research environments.

Application Process
===============
✅ Detailed CV including a list of publications.
✅ Research proposal (maximum 3 pages) aligned with one or more of the focus areas.
✅ Contact details of two academic referees.
✅ Cover letter outlining how your expertise aligns with Industry 4.0 research at UAEU.
✅ Support letter from a UAEU faculty member or research center, serving as the host principal investigator (PI).

- Swarm and collaborative robots, multi-agent systems (including drones and self-driving cars)
- AI and robotics applications in logistics
- Ethical considerations in AI and robotics

Smart Grid and Smart Cities:
- Data analytics, IoT, and blockchain in smart cities
- Energy management and optimization in smart grids

Advanced Manufacturing:
- Large-scale and distributed manufacturing networks
