The Haiqing Lin research group is performing breakthrough research focused on the synthesis and characterization of polymeric membranes for gas separation and water purification. The position is available immediately with a term of one year and may be extended for an additional year based on satisfactory progress.
The candidate will:
- develop membranes for post combustion carbon capture
- synthesize and characterize polymers and/or metal organic frameworks
- prepare and characterize thin-film composite membranes
- prepare presentations, reports, and manuscripts
