Intelligent Automation Research Lab (iAR Lab) opens one MSc and one Ph.D. position.
1. MSc position: Metal additive manufacturing or Position Measurement System Development
2. Ph.D. position: Robot system control or automation
Scholarship: $21K CAD/year
Applicants must have a B.S. in mechanical engineering and take dynamics, vibrations, control and manufacturing courses. Experiences with mechatronics and manufacturing are advantageous. The successful candidates will have a proven record of success and be able to conduct research independently as well as part of a team. Good oral and written communication skills are essential. The minimum requirement at the MME department website should be satisfied.
