Job Description Summary     
The Auburn University Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the field of occupational safety and ergonomics/human factors with an anticipated start date of January or August 2023. The position is open to all sub-fields of occupational safety and ergonomics, with particular interest in: (i) data analytics and machine learning, (ii) biostatistics and epidemiology, and (iii) cognitive systems engineering.

Minimum Qualifications     
Eligible candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field at the time of employment and demonstrate a commensurate record of successful academic activities, including funded research, teaching and scholarly publications. Candidates selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time of appointment and continue working legally in their role.

Desired Qualifications     
Certified as a safety and/or ergonomics professional, or be in the process of becoming certified.
