Ph.D. Position – Computational Thermo-Fluid Dynamics

The Environmental Thermo-Fluid Dynamics (ETFD) Lab (https://web1.eng.famu.fsu.edu/~nyaghoobian/index.html) at Florida State University has an opening for a Ph.D. position to conduct fundamental research in the area of fluid flow simulations. The research is in the areas of computational fluid dynamics and turbulence. Research projects will involve interdisciplinary investigations of various transport phenomena in the atmospheric boundary layer with a focus on natural disasters.

Applicants with M.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Atmospheric Sciences with a background in CFD are encouraged to apply. Previous research experience and programming skills are highly desirable.
