Work description

  • State-of-the-art review of the technical and scientific areas covered.
  • Study of the concept and respective requirements.
  • Development of the reference model and proof-of-concept specification.
  • Simulation or development of a scale prototype as a proof-of-concept.
  • Writing of the thesis and scientific dissemination.

 

Academic Qualifications

  • Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

 

Minimum profile required

  • Minimum degree average12.
  • Experience of using SW SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of ABAQUS SW.
  • Knowledge of MatLab.

 

Preference factors

  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of machine and product design.
  • Knowledge of and motivation for production systems using natural materials.

 

Maintenance stipend: € 601,12, according to the table of monthly maintenance stipend for FCT grants , paid via bank transfer. Grant holders may be awarded potential supplements, according to a quarterly evaluation process (Articles 19, 21 and 22 of the Regulations for Grants of INESC TEC and Annex II), up to a maximum limit of 50% of the monthly maintenance stipend.

 

INESC TEC supports costs with registration, enrolment or tuition fees, during the grant duration, under the terms established in the internal document: "Payment of Tuition fees to grant holders".

 

The grant holder will benefit from health insurance, supported by INESC TEC.
