Job Description
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the School of Engineering and Digital
Sciences invites outstanding individuals to join the department as Post-
Doctoral Researcher in the following areas:
1. Structural Engineering (Structural Mechanics, Steel Structures, etc.)
2. Geotechnical Engineering (Computational Geomechanics, Geohazard Assessment and

Applicants should possess an earned Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field from a reputable university and have at least one earned degree at any level in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or provide evidence of teaching coursework at an ABET-accredited program. A sustained and successful track record of attaining research or commercial funding and publications in internationally recognized quality journals and conferences associated with a high Scopus h-index are essential. Applicants with a commitment to professional activities, professional engineering registration, knowledge of the practice of civil engineering, and the potential to establish an externally funded research program are highly desirable.
