The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Valparaiso University invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in the area of Materials/Structural Engineering. This position will begin in August of 2023 (https://www.valpo.edu/college-of-engineering/). Primary teaching responsibilities may include covering core lecture and laboratory courses in Statics, Mechanics of Materials, Introduction to Materials Engineering, Structural Analysis, Reinforced Concrete Design and Structural Steel Design. The faculty member will also be expected to contribute to the department’s senior design sequence.
