We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and qualified postdoctoral researcher to work on modeling, simulation, and experiment of nanoscale heat transfer. Experimental experience with electron microscopy, optical spectroscopy and characterization, electronic instrumentation, and/or microfabrication will be especially helpful. The postdoc will be co-advised by Dr. Yanbao Ma from UC Merced, Dr. Chris Dames from UC Berkeley, and Dr. Jeffrey Urban from Lawrence Berkeley Lab.
Work location: UC Berkley and Lawrence Berkeley Lab.

Highly self-motivated individuals who have demonstrated the ability to conduct independent scientific research successfully are desirable. Preference will be given to those applicants with strong backgrounds in one or more of the following areas: experimental nanoscale heat transfer, Nanothermometry, electron microscopy, optical spectroscopy and characterization, electronic instrumentation, non-Fourier heat transfer, nanofabrication, nanoscale energy transport, and applied physics.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should email the following application materials to Prof. Yanbao Ma (firstname.lastname@example.org): 1) a brief cover letter; 2) curriculum vitae; 3) one or two publications; and 3) names and emails for three references.
