A Ph.D. graduate research assistant (RA) position is available in Dr. Daniel Zitomer’s research group at Marquette University (Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering). The RA will study enhanced anaerobic biotechnology for wastewater management and biomethane production for renewable energy. Applicants should have a BS or MS in civil, environmental, mechanical or a related engineering discipline. The start date is on or before August 1, 2026. Opportunities exist to interface with the NSF Great Lakes Water Innovation Engine that includes more than 30 water companies and 15 universities.
