2. Hiring Departments and Academic Fields
• Graduate School of Engineering Practice, Department of Advanced Technology
While applicants who have demonstrated outstanding research in all areas of Engineering will be considered, preference will be given to those specializing in the following areas:
- Semiconductor and Display Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineering
- Mechanical and Electronic Engineering
- Advanced Robotics and Mobility Engineering
- Nano and Energy Systems Engineering- Advanced Materials Science and Engineering
※ Reference Information
· Responsibilities of Tenure-Track Faculty are on conducting teaching and research activities.
· Work location is based on either or both at Gumi satellite campus and DGIST main campus. Depending on operational needs, work place may be flexible between both campuses.

4. Qualification
⦁ Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in a closely related engineering or science discipline at the time of the appointment.
⦁ Proficiency in English is required.

7. Matters of Consideration
⦁ Selected candidates at each stage will be notified individually with detailed information regarding the terms of employment.
⦁ The appointment shall be canceled under the following circumstances:
- If a false entries or modifications are found in the application form.
- If the candidate fails to obtain a doctoral degree at the time of appointment.
⦁ The appointment and acceptance will also be canceled if the candidate, or someone closely related to the candidate, engages in any form of misconduct, such as making improper requests, exerting pressure, or offering financial benefits in relation to the hiring process, resulting in their unfair selection.
⦁ Appointment will be restricted if the candidate is subject to disqualifications, set out in the State Public Officials Act, (Article 33), or the DGIST Regulation on Faculty Personnel Management, (Article 12).
