The University of Nevada, Reno College of Engineering is seeking a Lecturer. This is a full time (9-month), non-tenure track position that is renewable contingent upon funding. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, career-oriented individual, with demonstrated expertise to teach an undergraduate technical communication course with a project-based learning approach. This position will also be expected to teach other engineering courses or engage in service activities. This position will be available as early as January 1, 2020. The salary and benefits will be highly competitive.
A MS degree (or MS degree candidates within one year of graduation) in engineering or related field.
Experience teaching college level engineering; demonstration of outreach activities; coaching philosophy. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in informal and formal teams with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

The College of Engineering consists of five departments. The College offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in engineering and is ABET accredited. Thanks to substantial growth in both student enrollment and tenure-track faculty positions, the College of Engineering is constructing a new engineering building, scheduled to open in 2020.
