The Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) department at Michigan Technological University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Preferred applicants will have a degree in MSE or a materials-centric discipline. Applicants whose research focuses on contemporary approaches to traditional processing-structure-property relationships in materials are particularly encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of professional contributions, commensurate with rank, and the potential to continue and sustain a high-quality, peer-recognized research program. Applicants with skills that demonstrate the ability to develop an effective teaching program with both undergraduate-level breadth and graduate-program depth within the MSE discipline are also desired.
