Position:

The MUID lab at the University of Oklahoma (OU) seeks highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to develop molecular contrast agents for gene and drug delivery and ultrasound imaging. Our lab seeks to explore new types of contrast agents for drug and gene delivery for immunotherapy applications using genetically engineered nanoparticles. Developed molecular contrast agents will be tested in in vitroassays and in vivo mouse models.

Essential Qualification:

  • Experience in synthetic biology and molecular cloning technique
  • Analytical skills and experience in designing and applying fusion proteins
  • PhD degree in molecular biology, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, biology, or engineering in general
  • Candidate who seeks exquisite workmanship

The MUID Lab at the University of Oklahoma develops ultrasound molecular contrast agents, deep tissue imaging algorithms, and ultrasonic linear array transducers. We develop protein based ultrasound imaging contrast agents – closely related to this position, computational imaging techniques, and multifrequency linear arrays. State-of-the-art techniques and equipment are employed for basic and translational research. We provide a vibrant and collaborative laboratory experience through strong collaborations with OUHSC Stephenson Cancer Centerr and UTSouthwestern Medical Center. The MUID lab is committed to providing a safe, supportive, productive, and exciting space for all researchers.
