The Department of Civil Engineering at Montana State University invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in the broad areas of geotechnical engineering, engineering mechanics and water resources engineering at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Candidates for these positions will be hired as part of the Norm Asbjornson College Of Engineering’s Resilient and Sustainable Communities Initiative intended to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and promote the development of engineering solutions that help communities prepare for threats, evaluate risks, and adapt to and recover from natural and human caused disruptions without compromising future generations. The Initiative will add faculty across all departments in the College (Electrical and Computer Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and the Gianforte School of Computing).
Faculty with cross disciplinary interests and expertise are particularly encouraged to apply. More information on the Initiative can be found on the NACOE website (https://coe.montana.edu/cohort_hire.html) .
